Based up on the Arch Linux Citrix installation guide
- Download ica client from here: icaclient download link
- Extract with tar
- pkgbuild
install dependencies - Install the built package:
pacman -SÂ icaclient-13.3-0 - some environment settings
You have to create ‘$HOME/.ICAClient/cache’ for each user who uses this program and then populate it with the appropriate ini files. Copy paste the below to do this easily:mkdir -p $HOME/.ICAClient/cache
cp /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/config/{All_Regions,Trusted_Region,Unknown_Region,canonicalization,regions}.ini $HOME/.ICAClient/
Test the connection – you finished
The result is very appealing, faster than on Windows or Macintosh!
